Galvanized Steel Wire
Galvanized steel wire is an anti-corrosion metal wire made of high-quality carbon structural steel as the base material. It is formed by drawing, then processed through hot-dip galvanizing or electro-galvanizing processes. It combines high strength, corrosion resistance and good processability, and is an indispensable basic consumable in industrial production, construction, agriculture and other fields. Its core advantage is that, on the basis of ordinary steel wire, the galvanized layer greatly enhances the corrosion resistance and extends the service life, adapting to various complex service environments.
The production of galvanized steel wire requires multiple processes including raw material screening, drawing forming, pickling and derusting, hot-dip/electro-galvanizing, and passivation treatment to ensure that the zinc layer is uniform and dense, closely combined with the steel wire substrate and not easy to fall off. According to the different galvanizing processes, it can be divided into hot-dip galvanized steel wire and electro-galvanized steel wire: hot-dip galvanized steel wire has a thicker zinc layer and strong adhesion, with more stable anti-corrosion effect, suitable for harsh environments such as outdoor and humid areas; electro-galvanized steel wire has a uniform zinc layer and smooth surface, suitable for scenarios with moderate requirements on appearance and corrosion resistance.
The product has a variety of specifications, which can be customized according to diameter, strength and zinc layer thickness to meet the needs of different scenarios. It has excellent mechanical properties, high tensile strength and good toughness, can be processed by bending, winding, weaving, etc., and has both practicality and flexibility. At the same time, it has good weather resistance and wear resistance, is not easy to rust, and can effectively reduce later maintenance costs.
Galvanized steel wire is widely used in various fields: in the industrial field, it is used to make steel wire ropes, steel wire meshes, springs, fasteners, etc.; in the construction field, it is used for wall tensioning, scaffolding fixation and protective net construction; in the agricultural field, it is used for greenhouse frames, fences, breeding nets, etc.; in addition, it can be used for supporting facilities in communication, power, transportation and other industries. With its excellent comprehensive performance, it has become an indispensable basic metal wire in various industries.
