Galvanized Rectangular Pipe

Galvanized square pipe, also known as galvanized square steel pipe, is an anti-corrosion tubular profile made of high-quality carbon structural steel such as Q235B and Q355B as the base material. After being made into square pipe blanks by cold rolling or hot rolling, a dense zinc layer is formed on the inner and outer surfaces of the square pipe through a series of processes including pickling, fluxing, hot-dip galvanizing (or cold galvanizing), cooling and passivation. It is an upgraded anti-corrosion version of ordinary square pipe, with multiple performances of pressure-bearing, support, decoration and anti-corrosion, and is a widely used basic pipe in engineering construction and civil fields.
Galvanized square pipe inherits the core advantages of ordinary square pipe, with a square cross-section, regular structure and uniform force bearing. It has excellent bending, torsion and compression resistance. Compared with circular pipes, it has stronger stability and higher space utilization in plane support and frame construction. At the same time, relying on the protection of the surface galvanized layer, it has extremely strong corrosion resistance. The zinc layer forms a firm metallurgical bond with the base steel pipe, with strong adhesion, which can effectively isolate corrosive media such as air, moisture, acid and alkali. Compared with ordinary square pipe, its service life can be greatly extended, effectively reducing the later maintenance cost, and it performs prominently in humid, outdoor, coastal and industrial corrosion environments.
According to the production process, it can be divided into two categories: hot-dip galvanized square pipe and cold galvanized square pipe. Hot-dip galvanized square pipe has uniform zinc layer thickness (up to 80-120 microns), stable anti-corrosion effect and long service life, which is the mainstream product in the market and widely used in various long-term projects; cold galvanized square pipe has thin zinc layer and limited anti-corrosion performance, mostly used in short-term projects or temporary scenarios with low anti-corrosion requirements. It has a complete range of specifications, and the side length and wall thickness can be customized on demand. It can be flexibly cut, welded, bent, drilled and other processing, convenient to install, and adapt to the needs of different construction scenarios.
The core advantage of galvanized square pipe is combining practicality, corrosion resistance and decorativeness, without additional anti-corrosion treatment, and low construction and maintenance costs.
