Carbon Steel Plate
Carbon steel plates are steel sheets made from carbon structural steel through hot rolling or cold rolling processes. They are among the most basic and widely used metal materials in industrial production and engineering construction. Common grades include Q235B, Q355B, 10#, 20#, 45#, etc. According to carbon content, they can be divided into low-carbon, medium-carbon and high-carbon steel, with distinct properties and wide applications.
Carbon steel plates feature high strength, good toughness, excellent weldability, easy machinability and cost-effectiveness. They can be processed by cutting, bending, stamping, welding, heat treatment and other operations. Hot-rolled plates have a large thickness range and high rigidity, suitable for load-bearing structures; cold-rolled plates have smooth surfaces and high dimensional accuracy, ideal for products with strict appearance and precision requirements.
They are widely used in machinery manufacturing, steel structure engineering, bridge construction, pressure vessels, automobiles, ships, mold processing, hardware products, guardrails, supports, equipment casings and other fields. With good comprehensive performance and high cost performance, they have become indispensable basic steel materials in modern industry.
